I got a SL400 and I want to repartition for XP system, and unite system backup and then Ghost my system.
But I found there’s only AHCI entering BIOS, no IDE options. Whether the hard disk could not be found after formatting? How to solve the problem?

Previously I always partitioned with PQ in DOS and then installed XP system with CD. Wondering is there’s any other simple solution for this?

Besides, I don’t know whether there’s something else I should care for the installation or I should notice something? Thanks!

A: Start the machine—press F1 to enter BIOS—config—Serial ATA (SATA) and press Enter—press Enter again—choose Compatibility and press Enter—F10—Choose Yes—press Enter!
Done!
