Hello, on my Dell laptop display, recently there were many horizontal white light threads, sometimes when touch the display, even screen light would die out suddenly, and then nothing could be seen. What’s the problem? Hope to get your solution .

Suggest you pressing F10 to enter BIOS after starting up, check whether there’s the symptom occurred in BIOS as you described. If there’s no such a symptom occurred in BIOS, then probably there’s problem with your machine display card driver or system files. Suggest you reinstalling display card driver or operation system, check whether the problem could be solved or not.
1) If your machine has no such a symptom happened in BIOS, first of all, try moving or clapping the LCD gently back and forth, some change is displayed. Press Fn key and then start the machine, if after 30 seconds, laptop makes some alarms, then observe the display detection process of the LCD, check whether there’s light thread. Next boot to enter BIOS to observe, if there’s light thread, then it’s the failure of the display;
2) Connect external display to test, if same symptom occurs, then it means the problem of the display card driver or the display card on the motherboard. If there’s no light thread appearing on the external display, then it indicates the problem is on the internal display;
