Q:i recently formatted my Dell Inspiron 6400 and now my Bluetooth don't work i have tested most of the drivers in the website
A : Confirm that the external Bluetooth devices is installed correctly in Windows XP or could be recognized
Configure Bluetooth devices
1.On the window “Bluetooth Configuration” / “Hardware” option tab, make sure the option “Add the icon to the Start menu” is chosen, and then click “Next”;
2.Enter the unique name to the field “Computer name:”, and choose the computer type in the field “Computer type:”, and then click “Next”;
3.Click “Next” and start configuring Bluetooth devices;
4.Make sure that all relevant Bluetooth devices are already chosen, and then click “Next”, execute relevant operations according to the manual;
Check the status of Bluetooth devices
1.On the window “Bluetooth Configuration” "Hardware” option tab, check the device status in the field “Device Status:”.
2.Choose “All devices” for the field “Allow:” on the option tab “Accessibility”;
3.On the option tab “Discovery”, choose “Report all Bluetooth devices” from the dropdown menu, and then check and confirm whether there’s relevant device showing there;
4.If there’s no relevant Bluetooth device showing, then please find the manufacturer document and reinstall necessary software.
