My Toshiba Portege 4010 laptop cannot work only with battery on, and I guess because the laptop is already very old, so the battery totally abates. So I bought a new battery. And after the new battery runs for half an hour, the new battery indicator light began flashing again. Besides, system shows the sign of low power. And then the new battery could not charge. My laptop had been reassembled before, and installed different drivers, applications, modules and latest BIOS software etc. After I update the BIOS files to the latest version and plugged with external power supply. The battery light flashes few seconds, and then auto shuts down again. Meanwhile, power saver application begins prompting the power left. I even tried turning off the laptop and charging it 12 hours. However, after that, system shows the battery is still not charged full. I am almost crashed. Really hope your suggest and help. Thank you so much!
