My Toshiba P105 laptop’s bottom part is really too hot. I tried to find how to control the fan rotation, because I cannot hear fan rotating sound, this should not be normal. So I wonder whether there’s software could control fan rotation?
At the same time, I also wonder how high the case temperature could reach. The display card control panel doesn’t have temperature option, so I cannot see the temperature of the display card; I could not see other temperature information either. Hope your suggestion and help, thank you!
1): About your temperature control problem, I know RivaTuner could help you check up the temperature of display card, and set up fan speed. My display card temperature is about 58 to 65 degrees when stops running, but strangely when I’m running game, it doesn’t overheat, I think your fan should be OK, because there’s no great change on temperature, so BIOS has enough application to check up your CPU temperature.
2): You must place your laptop on the hard surface with good ventilation. Don’t use it on too soft surface, which would go against heat radiation. If temperature is really too high during laptop working process, then you should quickly save files and cut off power, and then change work environment. If the problem above often appears, then you need an extra USB radiator to accelerate heat spread.
