Now many LCD displays have DVI interface, but there’s no display when we connect, why is this? To solve the problem, first of all, connect D-Sub and DVI cables to the computer at the same time, and then open the monitor. Generally display is under default D-Sub signal transmission state; you can choose to switch to DVI signal output state through the signal source in display menu. Observe whether there’s display on screen.
If it’s still the same, then please check whether the display card setup is correct. Here’re the operation steps: right click on desktop, choose Properties—Setup—Advanced, click the display card model label, such s GeForce 7300GS, enter the page, and here’s the setup:
nView mode: copy
Display in pair: number display screen+simulated display screen
Display (d): nView
Display screen 1: number screen
Select to set it as main display screen, press OK to finish the setup.
If it still doesn’t display after setup above, then it indicates that there’s something wrong with the data cable, try changing the DVI connect cable.
